If you have a mountain of random footage you need rescued, yes, I can do that. But if you want my absolute best work, bring me in at the ground floor. I thrive when I can help build a film from scratch.
I love brainstorming the direction, scripting the interview questions, directing subjects to capture reality, and being on the ground as a second camera operator next to a confident DP. Because I'm an editor first, I know exactly which shots we need while we’re still on location. I keep my ego low, and my "cheese meter" high. If something feels fake, it doesn't make the cut.
